|NONFICTION BOOK PROPOSALShare
At Writer's Lifeline, we believe that the most lucrative stories are often the ones that are true. It's for this reason that we're so strongly committed to the mission of creating nonfiction book proposals.
If you have a great story to tell, or a great cause to champion, then it's your duty to us all to share it with as many people as possible.
And the good news is that, in the case of nonfiction, you don’t have to write the entire book. A 20-50 page proposal, consisting of the elements the publishers must consider, is enough to garner an advance that will finance the writing of the remainder of your book.
We also believe that the people who live the great stories are entitled to financial reward for sharing them-which is why the nonfiction book proposals we create are designed to sell books—and have sold dozens of them, including many bestsellers.
Our experienced Writer's Lifeline editors will help you tell your story, or champion your cause, in terms that enhance your "author qualifications" and best promise to captivate and inspire increasingly pressured acquisitions editors in today's market.
Your completed nonfiction book proposal will include a one-page overview of your book, an annotated table of contents, at least two sample chapters, and sections about the author, the target audience, the competition, and the marketing possibilities, as well as other required supporting materials and documentation.

AGENTS AND MANAGERS
If you're a literary agent or manager and could use our help
perfecting your clients' projects for publication and/or production,
we'd love to work with you because we're good at fixing stories
that aren't working yet.
Writer's Lifeline, Inc., based on experience, can add potentially
multi-million dollar value to projects that you haven't been
able to sell, or wouldn't consider representing, because of
the "shape" they're in.
In one case, we turned a great idea for a novel into
a $1.1 million preemptive film deal, then re-edited the MS
and auctioned it for $2.2 million. In another, we took a novel
MS that had been shopped to publishers and production companies,
worked on it for nine months, then changed the name and sold
it for $750,000!
When we receive the referral from you, we will work
out our relationship (including referral fees, where appropriate)--which
can also involve having our parent company AEI, Inc. co-rep the work with you.
DID YOU KNOW?
developed by Writer's Lifeline have accounted for approximately
seventy percent of sales (over $33 million and rising) made by its
affiliated literary management and film production companies and Story merchant, AEI,
Inc. since the company's 1997 founding. Find out more!
